BroLake is a man made private training lake and is the closest PADI sanctioned dive site to the metro.
It was first built back in 2002 and was revamped by the Scubabros in 2010. It was originally dug to be 35ft deep and now has a student platform that caps the divable depth between 20 and 24ft depending on water level. It is a natural bottom with the entire middle lined with concrete and steal to reduce silt and improve visibility. It is spring fed and the Scubabros, through their tireless efforts strategically adjust the water balance through out the year to keep visibility and water clarity at its finest.
Some key features include a 16x16 training platform, two descent lines, a concrete and steal lined center, a thriving and friendly fish population, plus comfortable accommodations that help the gear up process be as easy as possible.
While the dive lake is not open to the public, we are out there just about every weekend. If you want to log an open water dive, or work on skills in some deeper water then pick up a day pass and arrange a time on the weekend to come out and see us.
Day passes include a tank and weights. Rentals are available, and tank fills are $10.
If you are a dive center and would like to use Scubabros dive lake to certify divers please contact Scubabros dive shop and make arrangements.
